Patents in Research - practice seminars

In one-day intensive seminars, workshops and research seminars university scientists from North Rhine-Westphalia are provided in cooperation with PROvendis with relevant practical information on patents and patent commercialisation at universities.

The subjects are:
Employees' inventions legislation, patent law and patent application, contract opportunities and also patent search with hands-on exercise.

For university administrations
PROvendis offers the administrations of North Rhine-Westphalian universities, specifically their employees who are responsible for inventions and patents, a workshop series entitled, "Optimal management of rights exploitation", with various focus topics over the respective days of the workshop.

For patent scouts
PROvendis offers regular seminars, which build on the basic training, to all patent scouts recruited as part of the "Patent scouts at North Rhine-Westphalian universities" funding programme of the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Innovation, Science, Research and Technology (MIWF). These workshops serve both further education and networking purposes and address various focus topics on the respective workshop days.
